What Will They Think if They Read This

“What will they think about me when they read this?”

Maybe you worked hard to get where you are now. Maybe you’ve had to make many sacrifices. Compliment the guy in charge, keep your opinion to yourself when you did not want to upset the team.

Maybe you did some work in the past that evoked positive response. But now you’re feeling that what you’re working on right now might not be as good as what you did before.

You’re afraid.

You’re afraid that if you show your latest work, the world may finally find out what a phony you are, and update their opinion of you. Not only that — but also click on “Unfriend”, “Unlink” and “Unfollow”.

So you choose to stay put. Do nothing. Keep things as they are. Stop moving.
